Important Information regarding Corporate Registry
To register a Corporation’s name in the Province of Alberta, whether creating a
new incorporation, changing the name of an existing corporation, or registering
a corporation from another jurisdiction, then a NUANS (name search and registration)
is required. It is valid for ninety (90) days. Canadian federal corporations and
numbered corporations would be exempt.
Searches can be done both for incorporated entities, as well as for Trade Names/Partnerships.
We routinely conduct those searches not only in Alberta but throughout the rest
of Canada.
