Vehicle Inspections must be completed by an authorized mechanic.

Registry. You will need:
• vehicle serial number:
• personal identification:
- Take your Request form and vehicle to an authorized mechanic and have it
inspected. They will complete and give you a green Inspection Form that has a bar
code in the top right corner. This is your original Out of Province Vehicle
Inspection form. It is valid for a period of fourteen (14) days from date of Inspection.
- Obtain valid Alberta Insurance. This should be in the same name(s) as you wish to
register the vehicle.
- Return to MoJo’s License and Registry. Please bring with you:
• Completed Out of Province Vehicle Inspection
• Driver’s License
• Proof of Ownership (Bill of Sale or previous Registration)

We at MoJo’s Registry hope that outlining this procedure and the documentation required will
assist you and ensure a smooth, prompt registration of your vehicle.
* Vehicles coming into Alberta from out of Country will require a Canada Customs
Form 1 and Canadian Federal Safety Inspection. You can contact the Registrar of
Imported Vehicles at 1-888-848-8240 for more information. Doing this prior to Step 2 above may allow you to utilize one
mechanic for both inspections, thus saving you money.
